You’re Not Being Realistic

If you don’t have an awesome support system behind you, sticking to your resolution can be exceptionally tough. Make sure you have at least one person who knows about your goal so they can motivate you and hold you accountable. Ideally, you should find a group of people who have the same mindset so that it’s easier to get your goals accomplished. Without a good person or group of people in your corner, sticking to resolutions is much more difficult.
You’re Too Hard on Yourself
When you falter, it’s easy to beat yourself up and then give up on your dreams. The best way to avoid this is to remember that everyone makes mistakes, and that failure is often the first step toward success. Instead of berating yourself or feeling frustrated, brush yourself off and move forward. Everyone slips now and again, and as long as you forgive yourself and continue forward, you can still accomplish anything you set your mind to.
