Mark, was so patient and kind to my husband and myself while we were having technical difficulties with our bank cards as well as our email accounts. We just started renting today so Mark was an awesome start to what we hope to be an awesome rental experience.

This is a review of both the facility and of Mark, as well as a rebuttal to "One-Star Tom" below. This is a fantastic place for a storage unit. Drive through loading and unloading is amazing in Birmingham weather. This place is clean, well organized and secure. Mark is friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Apparently, One-Star Tom doesn't realize that Mark takes his one day off (in addition to Sunday) in the middle of the week so that he is available when most people are looking for his services. And Tom is either illiterate or unintelligent. When Mark is out of the office he has a very visible sign directing people to their call center where any issue can be raised and addressed. Let One-Star Tom rent storage elsewhere, but don't miss the opportunity to get a space at one of the best places in the area.

Facility is clean, convenient and safe. Staff is very professional and always helpful.

We have stored our items at iStorage for several years. The manager, Mark, is nice and helpful. We like the drive-in option and feel like our items are safe in this climate controlled space. Our only complaint is that our rent has increased by almost $100 in the last 3 years.

Mark at IStorage (Hoover 150) hits it out of the Park! Just Outstanding! He is so friendly & informative and makes you want to do business with him! IStorage is so lucky to have him! I’ve been with this facility for almost ten years and this is the first time I’ve ever wanted to review. The facility is so clean & so organized. It’s nice to see someone - these days “doing their job” and doing an Excellent job on top of that! Well done!

Please fix the drive in door on the Hoover al units it has been locked in the up position for 24 hrs with temp at 49 and raining. This is not helping those of us who need climate controll . Thanks

I never knew how hard it would be to find a storage unit or that I would even need one, but after my divorce my 4 kids and I was in the process of moving. This self storage is truly fantastic. Easy to get in and out of, gated, and off the beaten path a bit so it is out of sight out of mind for any sketchy business to stumble across. Shout out to Joe and Carlton for always taking care of their customers. They went out of their way when I moved in to let me know the office hours and if I needed anything they were there, being a female and having a storage unit by yourself isn’t always the safest feeling so that was so appreciated. Managed very well and taken care of.

I found myself in a last minute situation with a full trailer, bad weather and traffic and a need to get things unloaded. The ease in which I secured the unit and got the gate codes all during non-working hours was GREAT. Thanks for making it happen!

I was stressed out over moving to Birmingham due to not having enough room in my 1 bedroom apartment for the next 6 months. Brooke Opened the door for me, greeted me and immediately noticed my anxiety over my overflow of belongings. Not only did she nail the size unit I needed, she was able to show me one available on each floor and helped me decide if I was good with being upstairs or needed a downstairs. Had to wait a while outside for the manager to get there but honestly she was so great I didn't even mind. I called with a question about the location of my unit and she was so helpful. She even called me back a couple hours later to explain exactly where my unit was. Awesome job ma'am!!

After my family and I were evicted from our apartment after our Covid unemployment ended we had no where left to turn. I rented a storage unit here off of 280 the other day from the Assistant Manager Scharlotte and i was very impressed of the professionalism from her. She took her time with me and explained everything very well but not long winded and always had a smile on her face. She was never pushy about anything either. The facility is very clean and nice and always have plenty of carts to move your stuff around with. This was very refreshing and comfortable experience.

I recently rented a storage unit at this location. Brenda, the Property Manager, could not have been more helpful. She was always available to answer questions and offer assistance when needed. This location is extremely convenient and is always clean with plenty of carts to carry items from the vehicle to the storage unit. Next time I need extra storage, I will definitely use this location.

One thing I must say, I've been a tenant here at this storage since 2013 when it was called Southhall! I love the storage and the location! However, since it changed owners "some" of the new staff has been very rude and condescending. The new propoerty associate Brenda Hamilton could be a little nicer and professional. At a business, it's all about customer service and not the way an employee is feeling. I think Brenda can be a much better face of the company if she watch her deliverance, mannerisms and tone when communicating with tenants. Today's process went much more smoooth and swift with the help of the other associate Le'Andrea. I was able to meet Jeff (District Manager) on today and he was absolutely phonomenal as well. Those two made my day extremely easier. Thanks you two!

I have a unit here. I really appreciate that a dumpster is provided for occasional trash that I have in relation to my unit. Facility is secure and interior access is great on bad weather days.
