I usually don’t write reviews but this woman named Ashley gave the best customer service and care I would definitely be recommending everyone I know for this storage unit y’all are the best thank you!

Ashley was so helpful and knowledgeable with helping my mom rent a storage unit even though my mom is somewhat difficult to deal with... We both appreciate her expertise

If I could give more stars than five I most certainly would, I've moved a lot in my life and had quite a few storage sheds in Topeka but this by far is my favorite, it's secure, clean, the girls in the office know what they're doing, and they are so helpful if I need help with anything.. Ashley is super helpful and understanding and she's 100% amazing at communicating and has just been so helpful to me and my family. If you're not sure about where to go or where to store your stuff, I would highly recommend that you go to istorage on California, and ask for Ashley!!

Went in to discuss my unit with employee (Ashley). She was very helpful and an easy person to talk to. She resolved the issue and we ended the conversation. Customer service skills were on par.

***Updated Below***I'm only on month two but so far my experience with istorage & the management, Tony & Crystal has been nothing short of amazing. To start, when I opened my unit for the 1st time, it was immaculate and surprisingly very well insulated and I don't have a climate controlled unit. So, right off the bat I was happy. Also, I am extremely impressed with how vigilant Tony has been. He drives throughout the property regularly just keeping watch. I know this because I have moved an entire home into my unit and I have spent quite a bit of time there reorganizing just to make sure everything would fit. He drives by to check & make sure I'm okay & if I'm in a vehicle he doesn't recognize he'll drive right up to make sure it's me 😂 It doesn't bother me one bit! I just always hope the next time he drives by he'll get out and offer to help! Lol. Crystal is friendly and actually helped me out by extending my payment date out a couple days bcz I couldn't remember the date since it was actually my 1st month of actually having a payment due & I had reserved & purchased online so it was a bit confusing. Great storage place. I hate the idea of paying to store "things" but if you gotta do it, do it with these guys! They'll take care of your stuff. ****Update***Not sure how to add another review but I'm coming up on almost a year renting here no issues with management. Just unhappy with the company raising the cost of my unit with no notice prior and this happened months ago to no fault of the local management.

I misunderstood the sign by the dumpster and put some trash in it The guy in the office was understanding and I appreciated that he was able to work with me Thanks so much!! Overall pretty nice. Easy access. I The office manager is always nice when I come in or call to make a payment. I will say for $100 a month tho we should be able to throw or trash away in their dumpsters. I’m sure with the rent increases they can afford a second dumpster. Otherwise I really don’t have any complaints. I’ve had pleasent experiences thus far and have actually recommended a few friends there!

Tony was very helpful when I needed it the most! He helped me secure a unit and lock quickly! Crystal introduced herself to me within the first few days of starting and offered to help me while I was on the property! These two employees have went above and beyond my expectations and I will definitely be back in the future if I ever need a storage unit again! Thanks again!!!

Anthony at the 29th St units Topeka,Ks has cleaned out junk, fixed the security fence and got the security system turned back on. I told him we live on Social Security and explaned we have had 3 rent increases in the last 21/2 yrs and was going to need move to another company to have storage and be able to eat. Tony called his Mgr and she agreed the increases are pretty steep and that we can remain on the amount of the last increase. After talking with the Mgr he called me back and gave me the good news. *UPDATE: The owners quickly resolved the issue at hand. It is obvious they honestly do care about their customers and their experience they have at this establishment,and for that i thank them. Worst storage facility I've ever been to. !! Unprofessional employees not willing to help if a problem arises,which in my case I lost my storage keys which resulted in a nightmare of having them call their locksmith to cut lock off lock.Locksmith left early and they never told me .I was told I had to wait another week before accessing my belongings! And wasting gas driving across town! They offered no solution..only saing 'what do u want me to do about it!?' ..What do I want u to do about it!? Cancel any future contract with employees at a facility that's a joke and a waste of time and money is what I want u to do about it.

Professional and attentive

The managers have excellent customer service and when we get in a pinch they worked with us. He doesn't just rush you off. He lets you have a conversation with him. They are encouraging and I'm glad they took over. Even from the beginning he helped us with another issue that we ran in to. I highly recommend this place.

I've been a customer for years. I was looking to change where I stored my things until they hired the new Manager. This new Manager, Tony, has totally earned 10 stars with how he runs this property. I personally know 8 other customers who were also wanting to move and Tony has changed all of our minds. He is amazing and deserves recognition for rescuing this property. To any potential new customers.. just know you won't find a better place to do business in the area. I am totally confident that my things are safe and that's the most important thing when searching for storage units.

Awesome experience with this storage facility!!! Tony was a pleasure to work with. Got us a unit quickly and in a matter of minutes we were moving our belongings inside.

Friendly service. Not sure about the prices though. I Wont be able to beat the convenience as it's walking distance from my home. I hoped it to be a no brainer but again, they've found a way to make me doubt them. The back half of the lot is horrible...like it was bombed. I asked for a unit at the front half, they found a reason to charge me extra. Frustrating !!!

I'm giving this four stars based on the recent changes that have occurred since the new manager Tony came on site. He is so easy to work with and proactive in quickly getting the property improved. Before he got there, the property was in very rough shape. The concrete is still in need to serious repair, and once done, I believe the property will get consistently get five star ratings. It's been a remarkable turnaround!

Property has in proved, they finally got a manager (toney) that cares about the property and has made many improvements in a short time frame.

Easy access and customer service is excellent

I've recently rented a small storage space, perfectly sized for my needs. It was clean upon arrival. The manager, Scott, called not a day after I completed my rental online to take me through the process of having a lock, where my storage unit is located on the property, the hours of operation, and just to make sure he could answer all my questions. Fantastic customer service! Beyond the secure units themselves, you have to have a personal code to get into the storage area, so I feel very secure knowing my things are at this iStorage.

Top notch manager. Well informed, friendly and welcoming. All went smoothly. Very willing to assist in anyway or on anything. Great place to do business with 😄

Fix the broken gates!

I needed a simple storage quick and easy and Aaron took care of it expeditiously.. He was respectful and got it done. Only thing i didnt like is that the 1 month free that is advertised and on the front when you pull in, is technically only for the rental of the vehicle parking spots you can rent for vehicles.. Not the actual storage units.. But other than that everything else went fine...

This is a good storage facility. It is NOT assessable 24 hours and I work odd hours. It could be more convenient, but reasonably priced.

At the metro self storage located on California, I would recommend Christy or Kim to help get you and your belongings all set up! I am a single mom with 3 kids and keeping track of my bill dates is definitely not one of my best traits! With that being said I go in and both Christy and Kim are on it and always willing to help out with any questions or concerns I would have! They go above and beyond for me and my kids and our belongings! So anyway thanks ladies for making every experience fun and less stressful!!! - Lindsay kayden , Alexis and Sébastien!

Christy was very pleasant to deal with. She called to make sure I was aware that she would be out of the office and if I needed to be in by a certain date that I should go in to check in. She made sure the space was acceptable and clean and that I new how to find and get through the gate. Very pleased!

The staff was very helpful and efficient, other than one misunderstanding. They made everything very easy & fas, and when you have long work hours it's nice having access to your things 24hrs a day.

Great place!! And the people there are so friendly! I love that they have cameras up everywhere also. I would highly recommend them to anyone! While waiting on my husband to get there with the uhaul, the lady at the front desk gave my daughter some crayons and a coloring book to play with. Their units are very clean and you get your own lock! Love it! Such a great place!

Metro Self Storage helped me store my belonging while I was in between homes and schools. Kathy helped set me up and the whole process took under 15 minutes! Quick and easy! I felt comfortable with having an access key and knowing my items were safe! Thank you!
