I liked how easy it was to rent a unit all online and the price was great for the area. The one thing I find kind of annoying and the reason for only 4 stars is the lack of availability of moving carts. The carts are only available in the office when the office is open. The office hours say 10-6 however I have found that the office is closed at all different hours. I’ve been moving stuff into our unit for the last week and 2 out of the 3 times during this one week, the office was closed during normal business hours. It makes it tough when you are all the way on the 3rd floor and need to move a lot of stuff. Other units with other companies I’ve had had carts readily available by the elevators in the building. I ended up needing to go to Home Depot to purchase my own dollie just to make it easier.

This is my 2nd time using this facility. Process is easy and rates are very reasonable. The location is great for our needs.

My family rented an unit for summer. When we got there to see the unit first time, it has vent pipe that blocks one corner so we couldn't put large furniture there. Property manage Mike walked over to see it right away when we told him about pipe. He found another unit for us on spot. Also there are push-carts on site for customers to use, very helpful. The place looks clean. We like our experience so far. I will update upon the end of rental.

Istorage is a VERY helpful facility. In my line of work I have needed them over the years (business owner/contractor/painter). Their space is clean and will accomodate whatever you need no matter how big or small of a space. Their prices are very reasonable and they are always offering great deals and accommodations. This is by far one of the cleanest, efficient storage companies I’ve came across in a long time! All the staff we’re well mannered and had masks on! One of the staff member’s Marquise was very professional and answered all my questions and concerns and offered me the best storage that would fit my needs.

First walking up to the store I seen a woman wiping down counters and when I say that made me feel so safe! Coming in the store i was welcomed with a nice greeting I was asking about certain items I need to fit and she knew exactly what I needed thank you so much I believe her name was Shenika I lost the paper lol.. but more places need to make customers feel safe and satisfied as I was that day.

There customer service when calling is good. They receptions before transferring the call to the actual location, if necessary, is alway pleasant. However, the customer service onsite varies with who's there. The manger is very outgoing kinda nonchalant and unegaging but he is not rude. A smile could go a long way. The assistant manager, ir at least, he the person there most days and hour...a nice indian gentleman smiles and seems nicer. The location on the other hand; could use some serious improvement. The front office bathroom (no longer accessible due to COIVD-19) is nice clean and prestine. It would impress any "new" or prospective client. The exterior was painted after company changed ownership (names) and also look nice. But once you are a customer...and on the other side of the fence...bathroom is not kept up and wouldn't look nice even if it was clean...AND aired out. The once useful and large pull large carts are mostly damaged. They brought small, cheap and poor quality ones that cannot be used for most storage rental benefit to move large boxes and/or items. This doesnt even cover cost and rather or not the rates are good. It also does not the review if the actual units; we're save that for another time...maybe. just know. This much is on the low end of reviews with a 2 of 5 stars...well maybe 3 since the units are not horribly bad like other storage places.

I was a tad stressed out about the imminent arrival of my shipment and needed a good place to store my stuff. Ali helped me pick out lockers over the phone and made sure they'd be available when I came in to sign contracts. Mike showed me around when I came in for the first time and helped sign me up. Both took good care of me. Excellent facility, modern, clean, secure, well lit. Definitely recommend.

Actually, I took an uber to go there but how to find storage self service is not quite challenging:) And also staff members' service is "very kind" so they explained everything about what I asked even very minor things !!! Even though I rent 5*10 size unit, space is not small but quite enough for keeping personal stuffs. If you guys need to keep your personal stuffs, I highly recommend you guys to use this storage!!!

One of the nicer storage spaces I’ve seen. Clean and dry, climate controlled, decently well lit, no sign of rats or bugs. Staff is very friendly, carts are around to borrow. Five solid stars, no complaints.

Chiming in with my endorsement of this facility and also the manager. I rent a few units here and have always had a very positive experience. The facility is well lit, and the conditions are dry and the temperate is steady. The manager, Mike, is a true professional. He is very responsive and courteous and has always been there to address any concerns or answer any questions promptly.

Mike, the on-site manager at Brighton, MA was great. Very professional and polite. He helped me book the storage and arranged it for my movers to unload my household goods. Mike made my moving time less stressful. I’m very happy and highly recommend this storage.

I love this place in Brighton, MA (145 N. Beacon St.) Manager very good & knows his business well. Storage offerings are extensive, with very good price options and deals; sizes of offered units are plenty; and you can check that on-line before calling. The office manager at the front desk of your storage property can be contacted til 6pm M-F, 5pm Sa and 2pm Su. They'll call you right back if you had to leave a message. Place is clean, well lit, temperature controlled and safe You can visit your unit almost any hour (6am til 10pm, but can request a later hour in advance). There are plenty of moving supplies available for purchase at the site. Remember to bring a lock.

The facility is in great shape! My unit was clean and the service was polite and efficient. You need a code to enter/exit and the building is camera monitored so I feel safe leaving my belongings here.

As someone who owns and operates a moving company--Rocket Science Moving--I have volumes of experience with storage facilities all over the country. Simply Self Storage is, quite simply, the best facility I've encountered in all the years I've worked in the industry. I find the monthly rates to be quite reasonable, so reasonable in fact that I've been renting five+ rooms there for years. The drive-thru, interior bay is by far SSS's best unique feature: it's accessible with the same dedicated punch code you use to open the exterior gate, it's large enough to fit both trucks and cars at the same time, you can directly access the bathrooms and the storage rooms from there, and obviously, it provides cover during inclement weather. I've not seen this feature at any other storage facility. Last but by no means least, the manager Mike is friendly and accommodating, and I've developed a great working relationship with him over the years. Simply Self Storage has played an integral role in the success of my business and I don't hesitate to recommend them with five stars.

This is the 4th (or maybe 5th) year in a row I've rented a locker here. Regardless of the fact that it is far from the closest storage facility from where I live, it is the only place I will rent. The manager Michael is really nice and helpful, they have the best hours of any facility, and the place is kept really well.

One of the best storage experiences of my life!! Storage access hours were great, unit was clean and well regulated (temp. and humid.), plenty of moving carts, gates and keycodes always worked. Additionally, the staff, including the manager Mike, were responsive, understanding, and easy to work with. Also, the small things, the locks were very reasonable priced, and is literally walking distance to U-Haul if needed. Would definitely recommend if need storage around Brighton/Allston area.

As storage units go, this one is my favorite and I have showed my appreciation by spending an ungodly amount of money here over the years. I think all storage units have issues but to me, most important are the cooperation of the staff in accepting packages and the responsiveness of the employees and Simply SS gets 5 stars for that alone. At other units, every time I get a package I have to drive all the way there just to put it into my unit. The employees here have made every effort to help me out whenever I've asked for it and I've realized that's pretty rare in storage unit world. No loading dock so be sure to alert any delivery drivers.

Simply......THE BEST. I am an SSS....Serial Self Storer. I have had units all over the GBA and this company and especially this Beacon St location is the best all-around. Units are clean, like new, smooth floors (if you've rented before you know about the pits and pots in a dated facility). Ceilings are super HIGH, which is so under-rated if you know how to maximize your organization, and the SERVICE is excellent. I've had to deal with a bunch of sketchy managers at other companies, who are look for every opportunity to nickle and dime you. The manager here (nice guy, I forget his name) especially, and Tamera are super helpful and friendly. They shoot straight and value your business. Mike and his team are always there to support. I have had 2 units for 4 years and have never run into a problem they couldn't solve. Add in a drive in storage capability and this place rocks!

I've had at least one unit and several parking spots for nearly 7 years. The gated parking area is secure, and well maintained in the winter. The carport is a bonus with the ability to pull inside to load your car. SS Storage provides carts for easy loading/unloading. Mike, the Manager, is very friendly and helpful!

Amazing service, beautiful facility! I really loved the ability to drive into the facility so I could load and unload my boxes while being inside. Very cool!
