The office worker was so kind and helpful. I showed up in a thunderstorm and the gentleman gave me an umbrella and helped me get the lock open.

🚨THEFT ALERT🚨 Update: March 28th. I was able to get in contact with the company. They are extremely helpful and going above and beyond to help square away everything that has occurred. They are reviewing footage and will be keeping me updated on what had happened. As many of you know we are currently in the process of selling our home. I purchased a storage unit at Istorage on big beaver in Troy on Feb 25th. We have slowly been moving things out of our home to get ready to move. The last time we took a load there was March 11th. Last night we decided to take a few more loads to the unit. When we got there the inside was pretty messy and not how we had left it. Shoe boxed opened and all over the ground, bags opened and gone through, edges hunting box full of his clothes that he keeps shut to keep the smell the same for hunting season was wide open and his backpack in there was all unzipped and most importantly Courtney Edge crossbow that has been stored in our garage that was moved to the unit with all of our other belongs was stolen out of our unit. It was dark so we will be going back today March 25th to look through my belongings and see what else was stolen from my unit! Someone picked our lock and went through all of our belonging and stole from us. We always double and triple check to make sure the unit is locked up good. I’ve used this storage unit company multiple times since 2017 and now I’m feeling as if I never want to use this company again! Police report has been made and we are going to have them come and see if they can get any finger prints. Please if you or anyone you know is using this istorage location, go check out your unit and all your belongings! Please help share and spread the news. We do not want anyone else to have to have belongings stolen from this place!

Good place to rent storage. Unit is very accessible, clean, and well lit. Decent pricing for the size compared to other places. Good hours as well. Definitely like the automatic door when leaving.

I've had a storage garage here for several years. I've never had any problems. The times I've spoken to the staff at location they have been pleasant and helpful. Only negative is the weather strip at the bottom of my door was obviously damaged but they just repainted the door but didn't fix the weather strip.

I moved my stuff to iStorage about a month ago and I left town. My experience with the staff over the phone and in person is great. They are nice and friendly and offer good rates. Moving in was pretty easy. You just book the storage space a few days in advance over the phone, then when you move you just visit the on-site office to pick up the code and key to the unit. The staff member will help you find the spot. Generally it is very convenient. I may move out of the unit in half a year or a whole year, I will then check whether my stuff is intact and safely stored. I will write another review if needed.

I would highly recommend this facility to everyone. Ken is absolutely wonderful! He answered all of my questions before I moved things in and took care of all of the paperwork things quickly and easily the day I moved into the unit. This place also has prices you CANNOT beat. I did a thorough search of the area (checked out probably 15 other places) and this facility has the best prices by a landslide. You also only pay month to month so you don't get stuck with a long term contract should you no longer need your unit. My unit was clean and ready for me at the exact time I requested and I can access it whenever I need. Very happy with my experience here!

I will have my storage unit for the rest of my life! As a matter fact thinking💭 about getting another one because of the great service and award winning clean environment

The manager, Ken, called me the day before I was set to move in to see if I had any questions. He answered every one I had, and was very helpful in informing me about his storage units. Once I arrived and was checking in, he showed me my nice and clean unit. He definitely makes sure you're taken care of! The property is well kept, and has lights and cameras. 10/10! Price is around the lowest in the area, and what you get for your money is amazing.

I never had a single issue in nearly two years of occupying a storage unit. The staff is courteous and they make life easy for you.

Team there is helpful, nice and kind. Easy to get in and out. I like being able to pull up to space and unload instead of loading up cart, waiting for elevators then making my way to the unit. This way it's quick and easy.

I have been using this storage place for about a month now. The staff is very professional and responsive to your questions and concerns. They'll advise you on how to do things the best (in the most economical manner). I have been moving from out of state, which is a hassle, and they were able to hold a space for me and lock the price. Their prices are very competitive. Accessing the facility seems to be easy for me. It is very clean place. Their facility accepts very large trucks of all sizes: this is important if you have movers delivering things. If you don't have such access your movers may charge you thousands of dollars (I'm no kidding - I have done the quotations). I highly recommend this place.

The management and prices were spectacular. The only downside to the experience is the condition of the facility. The roads throughout the units are beat up, but that's somewhat expected at a storage facility. Great experience so far!

After moving back to Michigan we had to rent an apartment for about a year. I chose the Troy Simply Self Storage not just because I had previously worked there but because I know that the management is straight forward and friendly and very professional. It also helps that they are the most competitive storage chain in the area. My wife and I stored here for a year and I will continue to recommend others to rent there as well.

I am not yet a customer as I have a little time prior to my relocation. However, I helped a good friend of mine move out of her storage unit at this location yesterday. I have looked around for storage facilities myself and did not receive the geniune concern and great customer service that we received while moving the stuff out my friends storage. I believe the ladies name was Patricia, I do not have the paper that I wrote her name on now but anyway, she was very courteous, helpful, and even gave me pricing for storage options for myself. Office management is always friendly and helpful. They have convenient office hours, and 24 hour gated storage access with cameras set up all over the property so my belongings are safe. I couldn't be more pleased.
