In terms of the place and ease of reservation is great. The customer service is good when you go to sign the contract. After that, the attitude of the person in the office changes dramatically and everything is handled as if you are bothering her. Also, one of the warehouse employees seems to have a lock of training in dealing with customers. They are always rushing you out even before (like 30 minutes before) the closing time. I think customer service is important in any service business. The good thing is that you don't have to deal with them if you have your own equipment to move your stuff into the storage unit. Other than that, price is great, and you are pretty much in control of your stuff.

Ladies at the front were very nice and very helpful, highly recommend.

It is under new management and no noticeable improvements. Firstly, The monthly payment was adjusted without any notice/email or letter- not even a 30 day notice. The issue was not properly handled by employee when confronted. The storage use to smell Clean. Employees would be seen mopping, cleaning and etc. Now during covid one would think it'll be improved for the better, but I have yet to witness a change. Overall its an ok storage unit, if renting for limited time or if it's location and prices are convenient for your needs.

Great storage facility. The 2 females at the front desk were amazing. I appreciate the time the lady at the front spent answering my questions. However, this was a challenging move, as I had 3 mattresses and the building does not have a mattress cart. In addition, due to limited amount of flatbed carts, I had to wait for one to become available. Pros Facility is large, spacious and clean. Great prices too! Cons: Owner/MGMT buy more flatbed carts. The facility should have at least 6 carts total at the double doors , not just 3. Owner/MGMT buy 1-2 mattress carts, since there were not any.

First impression gets 5 stars. I had already checked reviews and was impressed. We were not disappointed.

iStorage in Bloomfield, NJ was overall a good experience. The staff were all polite, professional and overall wonderful people to deal with. They know their job and do their job well. The price was competitive, they accept business cards from business owners, they explained the insurance policies, the rules and regulations with the facility. So they did a wonderful job. The only thing I have an issue with, which has nothing to do with the staff, yet the business overall would be the time the storage facility closes. They close at 8pm. There is no access after that time which stinks. And as of now their bathrooms are not in service...smh. This stinks too. But like I said the staff in the Bloomfield office are overall wonderful people to deal with. I had storage there for about 6 months with no issues besides what I didn't like...lol. Thank you iStorage. Maybe you can have the storage close at 10pm instead. That would be better.

istorage in Bloomfield was straight forward with no 'over sell'. Facility is CLEAN and sterile looking. Prices is affordable. One complaint.... no electrical outlet in, or nearby my 5 x 10 locker. It can be a daunting task when looking amongst your belongings with very limited 'light' options.

Istorage is a great place I have been renting here for a few years now. The staff there is amazing I will not rent anywhere else. This is the place to go for your storage needs , Luis is very helpful and great customer service!

Conveniently located bordering Bloomfield, Newark, East Orange and Belleville. Large facility, clean, professional. My only issue is the price. My unit was $105/mo 3yrs ago. The price has been increasing regularly. Now that same unit is $170/mo. And since under new ownership, the cost of late fees have skyrocketed. The initial late fee has increased from $25 to $60 and after a certain number of days you are hit with additional, much higher fees.

I keep a storage here. Makes me feel safer, in case I move from area. Friendly staff

This had to be one of the most trying moves I'v ever experienced (not to mention moving from GA) But with people like the 3 ladies at this location (sorry I can't remember all the names) it made my difficulties a little better. Their customer service was top of the line. They were patient and offered solutions to my many issues. I'd definitely recommend this facility for any out of towners like myself and even locals. Very clean, and easy to navigate.

Vicky took care of me the first time I opened up an account and she was very patient showing me around all the different options. Melody was just as awesome the second time around, she cleaned my second storage room thouroughly and was super sweer through the whole process.

They were amazing. The property manger was a complete doll. I had a reservation that was expiring and she called me to see if I was still interested. When I told her I was she asked if I wanted to come in later that day. I told her I had only 10 minutes to spare . She told me that she can get me in and out in that time.Not only did she keep her word ,she helped me in figuring out which unit to choose, and saved me money. She personally secured the sale.

Get to know the new SIMPLY STORAGE in Bloomfield, NJ. - GROVE STREET. I am a storage renter for over 8 years. My rating is based on specific people that take the greatest care of you! 5 stars for Vicki, Luis, Melody, the team! You would think it was a family owner operated business. The fact anyone complains about the upkeep is not the fault of the people who work there. Storage is SIMPLY what you pay for....You save a few dollars at this storage location and it's extremely convenient to stores that are not as easily accessed at other storage facilities. One thing for sure I know that the people working here will "look out for you" when you need them!

I walked in the door 5 minutes before closing time and asked if they could help me now or should I come back tomorrow. Melodie, pleasantly said now was fine and spent the next 30 minutes setting me up with my new unit and providing me with excellent customer service. The unit I was renting needed to be swept. When she asked her co-worker Louis to sweep it out while she processed the paperwork, he quickly and pleasantly went to do it. Now, I know how frustrating and annoying it can be to have a customer show up 5 minutes before closing needing 30 minutes of help. These two service representatives were so courteous and efficient, that I never felt like they were trying to hurry up and get me out of there. Excellent customer service! Thanks so much.

My husband and I did not anticipate needing a large unit so we grossly underestimated. Before the month was finished we had 2 units but more to store. Vickki and Nelson were wonderful!! They put us in a larger unit and allowed us to close out the other 2 with minimal costs. They didn't have to do this but are so helpful and considerate!! Thanks to them we have everything stored. Please use this storage facility. They're the best!

Simply Storage Bloomfield is an amazing facility to store your belongings. The place is clean, doesn't have that moldy smell that most storage facilities usually have and is always well lit. The reasons: 1) It's really convenient to get to by car, bus, or light rail. 2) The units are really spacious. 3) It's well-lit and feels safe. 4) The adjacent Staples and other stores are useful. My Mom just died and I had to return to my unit to search for some sentimental items. I met Vicki, the new manager. She was very helpful in explaining the new hours and new procedures to make the building even better for patrons. I finally found an old picture of my Mom that meant a lot to me.
