An activity (primarily) for the adults, Ingenious Brewing company is a small-batch brewer with 24 taps! They change things up constantly, so you’ll never get bored. You will get buzzed, though, on their delicious NEIPAs, stouts, and barrel-aged beers. Plus, they offer daily food trucks with a wide variety of delicious eats! Yes, they are family-friendly, but let’s be honest; this is a great place to go with your gal pals or best buds. 6. Learn About Water Conservation at the WaterWorks Education Center

OK, we admit, this didn’t sound exciting to us. However, we discovered that the WaterWorks Education Center is, in a word, fantastic. They offer after-school programs, field trips, and many interactive activities. Multi-media presentations are also given, all in the name of promoting water stewardship and conservation. (Water is essential stuff!) They even have a yearly Water Festival, which is better than we imagined! So, yes, it might sound dull, but, in reality, the WaterWorks Education Center is a blast!

7. Ride Some Friendly Horses at Cypress Trails

If you love horses or want to learn to ride, Cypress Trails is a perfect choice. It’s owned and run by Gold Medal Olympian Darolyn Butler and offers horses for all ages, even kids! You can ride for an hour or the entire day. (Darolyn is an endurance riding champion.) They also have the facilities for parties and events, including weddings. (Talk about riding off into the sunset!) Lessons are available, too, making it the all-around perfect location for equestrian elation!
