For 40 years, Feeding America® has responded to the hunger crisis in the US by providing food to people in need through a network of 200 food banks across the country. Today, Feeding America® is the nation’s largest hunger-relief organization focused solely on US citizens.
Why Food?
2020 was a rough year – there’s no doubt about that. Many of our tenants came to us during emergency situations and that’s what inspired us to help. Food insecurity rates are at the highest levels ever. An estimated 54 million people faced hunger during 2020, including more than 18 million children. No one – child, adult, or elder – should go to bed hungry. Together, we can help families in need and make the world a little brighter.
