The holiday season is a time for giving, and it’s also the perfect time to donate to the charities you know and love. That’s why iStorage is partnering with the Marine Toys for Tots in 2021 to spread holiday cheer to children in need. If you’re not familiar with Toys for Tots, their mission is to collect new unwrapped toys and distribute those toys to less fortunate children and teens at Christmas. iStorage is excited to be a part of extending this community outreach. Read on for iStorage and Toys for Tots drop-off locations across the US.
What to Donate
You can give almost any of the toys that are popular this year. Other toy categories include sporting equipment, books, backpacks, board games, radio control cars, hand-held electronics, and skateboards with helmets. Toys for Tots asks that you do not give toys that look like realistic weapons or food items.
How to Donate
iStorage is making it easier than ever to donate to Toys for Tots in 2021. You will be able to find the collection boxes in a number of our offices. Just bring your new, unwrapped toys with you when you visit your storage facility.
Toys for Tots looks a little different in 2021. Marines won’t be there in person, but we’re stationing collection boxes in our facility offices. iStorage facilities, following state and local ordinances, are taking social-distancing precautions to keep our customers and employees safe. We ask that you call ahead to let our staff know when you’re coming to drop off your donations. Visit our website for more information on our no-contact policy.
When and Where to Donate
If would like to no-contact donate, you can use the following methods:
- You can mail in your donation.
- Make an online donation.
- Use the Toys for Toys virtual toybox.
iStorage will accept donations for Toys for Tots from December 4, 2021 – December 23, 2021, depending on location. Please contact your location for the exact pick-up dates. See below for the locations participating in Toys for Tots 2021.
