Storage Units at 275 E Prater Way in Sparks, NV 89431

Last Sunday the manager help me out tremendously. Someone had cut my lock and put there lock on my storage unit. She came in on her day off and cut it off for me and was super nice. She's definitely the nicest manager I've delt with there.

I have been here now for a while and the new Manager on property is amazing!! We love how much the property has cleaned up since her arrival! She is definitely an asset to this company making every effort to help when needed. Thanks Lois for being so professional and courtesies every time we come in.

Louis was so wonderful to work with. The place is amazing and she has really cleaned it up! She worked with me and helped me get the right size storage unit and helped transfer without any hesitation! She went the extra mile and had me set up and ready to go within minutes! Louis is amazing!! Recently this property came under new management and immediately things began to improve! Her personable approach to my concerns coupled with her drive to make positive changes is unparalleled! She has no problem working with you if needed, she understands life happens! The place has really cleaned up with the new manager in place. Issues and concerns that I had were immediately addressed and resolved. If looking for storage facilities I would recommend iStorage to others.

Initially we enjoyed meeting the new management. After five months rent has increased already without warning. I called and they bascially said corporate mails them out and insinuated it was my fault since my address was not listed on the electronic form which was pre-filled out by them. I had only to sign and intial. They have all my info on the form I filled out in person. On the first they have a delinquent notice on your account before the day is done. They did say for this month they would only charge the rate I was paying so that is the 3 stars plus she was not horrible on the phone and did listen to me(I was not happy). Everytime we go there it has units wide open with trash and debris spilling out and looks as though people are living in them. Theft is common there so be sure to keep it securely locked and check on your unit often since they make it clear they are not responsible and no type of security. Too bad about the negatives since the managers do seem like nice people and my unit itself serves our needs.

Clean facility, nice staff. They just are bad at letting you know the code given when reserving online will not work and need to use a generic one. Also why have office hours for Saturday if no one will be there to help?

iStorage is a nice clean facility to rent a storage space in. Signing up online was a pleasant experience.

Good location, nice secure property, generally nice management. They can be very helpful and do try to work with you if you communicate a problem with finances in these Corona times. So it's not all lemons or limes. Items were kept safe, probably dry, no mouse or insect activity that I ever saw. Sometimes you will find a sticker on your lock.I guess that means it's been inspected and approved, but it made me feel a little bit moved...though I was stuck just like the sticker for so long, American materialism still going strong. I wish I could let it all go, but I'm not a saint or a Buddhist, you know... The good: Large lot, easy to get to location, ability to peacefully access unit and work with stored items without vehicular crowding or harassment by other renters or management...for the most part. Items secure. The bad: Hours are ~ 9-9, which is inconvenient if you're hoping to get in early, or frantically packing into the night. You won't get locked in but be warned that rent will rise, rise, and rise again. Unfortunately they seem to raise rent every few months, and when your balls are in the slinger, your nuts are in the wringer, boxes stacked to the ceiling, and furniture too heavy for wheeling-in other words, when your worldly possessions are stuck in a 10x15, well, you pay the rent or find a tent, move to a new place to store or lose it all on storage wars. The ugly: Reno area storage is really expensive, and rent borders on criminal, but it's a transient town, and the chips are down. Start at $150, what a deal end up $200 in 1.5 years on the bill. Also, late fees are not unheard of- $220+ if you are late a week or more, so if you seek to store Iron Guard is okay, but I say take that stuff and move away! I am now paying a solid $82 in my new state. Reno/Sparks cost to live and even safe spots to store all you got to give is a shame. Place is getting to big for it's britches, and too small for it's game.

Wonderful experience during some of life's least favorite activities.

We rented a storage unit for a couple of months. Security seems to be a priority. The receptionist, was very helpfull and informative about everything. The pricing for the unit was right for us! Very happy we chose Iron Guard Storage. Recommended!

This storage facility really is like family. They are amazing, I wrote a review on their website but in short; this place really cares about their tenants. My husband and I were late and they worked and helped us with the late charges so we didn't lose our stuff. For that we are so grateful. If your looking for a great storage facility that isn't about taking your stuff when your late and not helping you, check this place out. We love it and we love the people that work there. I just rented a storage unit with Iron Guard Storage in Sparks. The Manager helped me rent a space and he was very polite, professional, and just good hearted. He made it a very easy process. I feel like if there is something that I need he would be willing to help me. He also offered me discounts and that is always a plus in my book!

I have recently moved from Texas to Sparks, NV 3 weeks ago and was in search of a local and convenient place to store my personal belongings. After hours of research, I ran into Iron Guard Storage. In an awkward location, but the whole experience was worth every minute after visiting other storage facility's in the near by area. This location by far was the most professional, courteous, neat and clean. The manager on shift that day was professional and informative about any concerns I had. He made my whole moving experience all the better. Kelvin told me everything in brief and made sure I walked out with everything I needed to know. He was like family. I knew then, that my belongings being stored here was going to be safe! I definitely recommend renting here and they also have referral specials, so get in and signed to receive that $50.00...I did!
