This is my first experience renting a unit. Sharon & Emely made the process so simple & quick! I inquired online & received a call from Sharon to finish the process over the phone. Facility is clean and staff explained details and were very helpful. I presented a declaration page of insurance to show I am covered already for a storage unit. But your procedures would not allow me to decline insurance upfront. Hopefully reimbursement of the PPP charge is forthcoming. I also did not like that lease rates can go up each month with only short notice.

I called to rent a storage unit. I was told my total monthly charge would be 233.00. I asked if this price included everything including taxes and fees. I was told that yes, 233.00 is what I would have to pay monthly. When I received the e-sign documents in the mail, the monthly charge was changed to 248.51, a 15.00 difference. Other than that, everything is OK.

Great customer service usually at the storage location in Smithville, NJ My only complaint is how expensive it is to store things there, especially when they raised the rates right in the middle of the coronavirus.

Friendly and highly competent staff. This is our 3rd storage unit. I think that raising prices during Covid is wrong. When we called to rent our third unit we were told that basically everything is being rented. So you don’t have a problem with not enough customers, you have too many customers and yet you raised priced. Unless you lower your prices now that you’re fully booked, we are going to start looking for another place to put our stuff. In fact, given your inflated prices we’re just going to donate a lot of what we have and reduce the number of rentals required.

After the pandemic, I needed to move my storage unit and with everyone leaving the city, I was having trouble finding a climate-controlled space anywhere! Suddenly, I saw an opening with iStorage. The national customer service center was able to reserve the space in the location I needed, and I got a call from the locale very shortly thereafter. The rental agreement was quickly executed digitally (perfectly socially distanced!), and I have my space now. In addition, the two women at the Smithville, NJ location were kind, efficient, and quite helpful. All around, a good experience, and their pricing beats Public Storage by miles!

Went in this morning to istorage in smithville and when i tell you my day went from left to right as soon as i spoke to emely. Never met anyone with so much answers to their job before. Everything i wanted to know she had an answer for. I had options but i think i made my mind up istorage is the place i want. I can say so far my experience is good. We had easy access, locating new unit was simple. We had a rather large 16' box truck and had no problems with movement throughout the facility. I will reccommend the facility to others.

iStorage in Smithville has been my “storage” home for just shy of 27 years . There had always been other options but you simply can’t beat a management team like Mike and Emily who always have your back and well being at the top of their list . Although I’m moving out of the area and won’t be able to use their services again I highly recommend iStorage Smithville because of Mike and Emily and the confidence you gained knowing you’ve dealt with the best ! The staff at Smithville IStorage was amazing. They were always quick to help and answered any questions we had. My only complaint, and this is for the company, is I don't agree with not having the rent prorated. We only used our storage for 1/2 the month so we lost the other 1/2s rent. The unit was immediately rented to IStorage made double on the 1/2 we lost. Obviously a refund for less than a week doesn't make sense. But anything over a week left on the contract would be nice to get back. Otherwise, rental unit was exactly as expected and once again, I can't say enough good things about your staff at this location. Will absolutely recommend and use again if needed. Thanks!!

Mike is a super guy who has been extremely accommodating whenever we have a question or need help. I feel our property is in good hands with him on the job. I have had a storage unit at Smithville New Jersey for more than 4 years. The manager and staff are a class act. The are friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. The manager- Mike is very personable and makes you feel like family and your needs and concerns are promptly addressed. Additionally, the facility is well maintained and clean; no pest problems. I have rented storage units all over the United States from all the top five storage companies and the facilities and service at the Smithville location are among the best. I recently relocated to Ohio, so I had to “sadly” leave this facility. I highly recommend Smithville location; your in good hands!

I went over to the iStorage in Smithville, with a friend of mine, who has a storage unit there already. I wanted to inquire about getting a storage space also. I went in, and met Emily. She was very professional, answered all my questions, and took me out on site, ,to look at the different options available for me. When I was ready, about 2 weeks later, I went back, and decided to get a unit there. Again, Emily was there. She made the process simple, and was very professional. The site is clean, and I love the location. I know if I ever have a problem, I will go to Emily, and my problem will either be resolved by her, or she will find out for me, who I will need to talk to. I highly recommend iStorage in Smithville, if your looking for a storage unit.

I immediately built a rapport with Julie and Michael and found that iStorage's rental fees are the least expensive out of all the places that I had researched. This morning we went to iStorage to put our antique Cadillac away for the winter. We were greeted by Mike the onsite manager. He was very helpful and explained everything to us. We had a little trouble with removing a bolt to take the battery out of the car and Mike was right there to help. The units are very clean and the property well maintained. We have no worries leaving our car there with Mike living on the premises. I highly recommend this storage facility.

Okay, I almost don't even know where to begin. I just began storing my RV at this location. As I pulled in I was immediately greeted by the extremely friendly property manager. He immediately escorted me to my parking space and made the process super simple and convenient. Lot is extremely clean and the property manager is onsite 24/7. I have stored in many storage facilities before and this is by far the cleanest and most courteous!!! Way to go iStorage, you got this one right!!!

I have been in the hospitality industry for many years. I can recognize exceptional customer service from a ten mile radius and if I can remember your name, then you left a great impression on me. With that said, Mike and Julie have been extremely helpful and inviting. They answered every question and concern with professionalism and understanding. I so appreciated their help beyond words. I would recommend anyone to this establishment without a second thought.

After going the extra mile to help me figure out what unit was appropriate and affordable for me, the extremely friendly staff (this man's name was Michael) helped me thoroughly understand everything I was signing up for, gave recommendations about how to ensure my things were stored safely, and helped me out with a pad lock for the unit! In a challenging time I was faced with having to relocate from our 2 story townhome to a rancher due to my mother's failing health and in the interim I was forced to obtain a storage unit for a seamless transition. It was then when I met Mike of iStorage in Smithville. Mike provided me with a magnificent program that economically fulfilled our needs at the time and in my amazement he actually 'upsold' me by offering me a suitable storage program for my work related needs as well. Suffice it to say not once did I feel overwhelmed with any of the information he provided as Mike is articulate, and extremely professional and kind.
