Storage Units at 244 Andover St in Peabody, MA 01960

When I first started using the Peabody iStorage unit for my motorcycle way back in 2014, I never imagined that I would have such a great experience. The folks that run the place seem like family, and they are very responsive and accomodating at all times. Thanks to Craig (especially) and his professional/friendly attitude, I really enjoy popping into the facility every once and again to check up on things, etc. He is quick with a smile and will always stop what he is doing in order to help me out with whatever crazy needs I have at the time. It is great to know that I have him and the rest of the staff on my side. It is this excellent attitude and service that will always keep me coming back. Thanks so much iStorage and its' attendant crew!

Reserved a unit online and Craig quickly called and welcomed us to istorage, he explained that the unit we reserved was actually 2 5x5 and offered us a 10x10 like we thought we reserved. We went down and met Craig where he changed our agreement to a 10x10 and gave us our first month free. He was very friendly and kind. Thanks Craig for your great customer service!!

very hrlpful making it easy to select my storage unit

Have had my stuff there for at least a year or so, not climate controlled so their prices are slightly below other newer facilities but theyve gone up like everywhere else.The staff is friendly enough. Annoyances can never find a cart have to ask for one a lot. A few months back there was a leak in the roof , keep your stuff in plastic or off the floor.Its basically made of alluminum attached to metal beams and cement floors. metal beams.Not airtight so mice and whatever can get in there. I did have some minor items ruined cause I had them in cardboard boxes. There was a pool of water inside the entrance of my unit. I had to ask them to clean it, it wasn't done right away so stuff was sitting in water for hours. The roof took even more time. Not cool. Things are back to normal now. I can't afford to move it right now,so I took the hit. The gate is a pain getting in and out of car to access the area. Just small annoyances that are tolerable for the price. Oh there seems to be sinking pavement forming around the run off drain as you enter the drive pass after the gate?

The facility is clean, the staff helpful and kind, and the unit clean and in good shape.

This is a great storage facility. Craig goes above & beyond. A specific example - I locked-up my unit and forgot a couple of items in the hall. I recently stopped by for something and realized they were missing. Turns out, Craig had saved my items for me - for 3 months! Since I locked up, there was no way for him to know who they belonged to. This doesn’t happen! Great place! Thank you Craig!

I would’ve given a five star review but I had to knock it down to four. The website states I could move in right away, so after signing the agreement online I sent my husband to the facility to begin putting some of our things in storage. Well when he got there our unit had a lock on it so we were unable to access it. We rented on a Sunday so there was no one in the office to help us out. I just want everyone to know if you start your rental agreement when the office is closed you may not be able to have access to your unit. The website shouldn’t be so misleading. It was a bit of an inconvenience to us but I called the office on Monday and Craig was really nice and took care of the lock right away.

Great experience. I went in a day earlier than I was supposed to start my rental and was greeted pleasantly and treated very well despite being a day early. I am horrible with names, but the employee I dealt with was new and needed a bit of help to get my reservation going. She was professional and polite and apologized way more than necessary for the delay. It was also nice to see her call for assistance answered promptly and the other employee work with her to get my reservation going without hesitation. The facility is secure and well maintained. Helpful, friendly staff always make any transaction easier and iStoage in Peabody certainly has them.

I was previously using a different storage facility in Salem, where the company didn't care about you at all. Employees there admitted they didn't know why some things were changed, or done. Istorage has been the opposite - professional, friendly and willing to work with you. Craig has been outstanding, and gone above and beyond in terms of being helpful and professional.

I take great pleasure and giving special recognition to Craig Sarno, Property Manager at this Peabody location, who has gone above and beyond his duties and job description to fulfill all of our needs, in particular emerging and extenuating circumstances we found ourselves in, with care, compassion, solutions and timely resolutions to all of our unique needs with a grace and professionalism that was beyond all of my expectations. You wouldn’t think something of this nature would arise involving a storage unit, but there was a family accident, health issues, and access meeting critical and time constraints necessity to get into our unit whose lock also was malfunctioning. I want to commend you on your employees who I was also pleased to learn is new to your team but performed in all manner of a veteran of your company. He is certainly an asset and a valued employee and me not having a unit at your facility would never look elsewhere if needing one or recommending one to others than to iStorage. It is because of members like Craig, of your team, that turn “ having a storage unit“ into “a place to store our most valued and treasured possessions with a sense of security. I'm sharing a review of iStorage in Danvers with a bit of a complicated situation. My father suddenly passed, and after months and months between making payments, late payments, fees, going back and forth there to get my father's and other family's belongings, I was probably a difficult and frustrating client to deal with. But nevertheless, the property manger, Dana, was always a pleasure to deal with. Upon each and every one of my calls, she was kind, friendly, personable, empathetic and understanding. She was not judgmental of my situation and guided me through the process of being able to vacate my Father's unit. No matter how late I was with payments or how many times I called, she was always kind and gladly assisted me in breaking down my total as far as fees went. Overall, I just had a very good experience dealing not only with her, but within the unit itself while going through an extremely difficult hardship in my life. Besides personal reasons, the storage spaces are clean, neat and roomy, easy to access and are very well secured. I felt very safe leaving my family heirlooms there to hold while I was unable to go there and get them immediately. I felt the monthly prices for the units were also pretty reasonable as well. I would suggest looking into a unit at one of their locations in the future if you are looking into a storage unit for yourself. I did like the Danvers location because it is built on a bit of a hill/inclination, which I thought was a nice touch of privacy and water protection.

IStorage team was very helpful and got us our storage unit all over the phone and email in a simple process. This is the second time we have used this location for storing college dorm items when school is out of session.

Our storage needs declined so we arranged to move our belongings to a smaller unit. Mary was of great help in finding us the appropriate unit and she helped make the transition seamlessly. The personal attention we received makes iStorage Peabody special.

After shopping around at rates for storage units online I came across istorage. I went into the main office to check out the building and look at the size of the units. When I arrived I was greeted by the manager Dana Hill. The first thing she mentioned to me was the promotion that was going on offering one month free, she then took me on a tour to check of the unit to make sure that it was the best fit for us. When it was time to do the paperwork it was quick and smooth with all questions answered. I left feeling confident that I had made the best choice and had no doubts that my belongings would be stored safely and properly. I had came back a few days later with my Uhaul to unpack my items in the unit, unfortunately it was after office hours and I had forgotten to call Dana and ask her to remove the locks on the unit. 5 minutes after I left a voicemail and was having a panic attack thinking I wasn't going to be able to unload my things she called me back to let me know that she would be leaving the keys for the locks for me and I had nothing to worry about. Dana, I cannot thank you enough for your amazing hospitality and customer service skills. I highly recommend istorage and the manager Dana Hill. Thank you!

Dana is amazing. She helped me figure out the exact size unit I needed back in August. I just got all of my stuff out of storage and she was so helpful with figuring all of that out, and ending my storage. I chose this facility due to the convenience of being able to pull my truck directly up to the storage unit. Unloading a huge truck was quick and easy thanks to their spacious units and wide lanes. Clean, convenient and affordable. This is a very well kept business and the manager, Dana, couldn't be more helpful and friendly. I would recommend this to anyone who needs an area for storage.

Clean, safe, organized and convenient. Dana, the manager, is very nice and helpful and found me the right unit without upselling or pressure. She patiently answered all my questions, which I'm sure she's heard a million times, and showed me several units before I decided to rent. I had visited other nearby storage facilities but none were as clean and well-maintained. I'm glad I waited to find this one.

First off I'd like to start by saying Dana was super helpful and knowledgeable in her business here. It's my first time renting a storage unit, and couldn't be happier with simply self storage. Things were very simply and straight forward as they should be. Dana got me set up in a matter of no time, highly recommend this location. Not like other shady storage places in this area, property is always well kept and maintained as well, which is a big plus!

Rented space for over ten years. When my door broke it was fixed the same day. Dana and her husband were great facilities managers. Lit was kept clear of snow and ice and always was clean and tidy. Recommend to anybody needing a little extra space.
