Update to this review. Making the reservation for a storage unit was easy, professional and customer service oriented until I visited the location to finalize the transaction. The person that I dealt with is no longer with the company. However, Sherry who is the location manager more than made up for it. She was friendly and professional and experienced.

She has the patience of a saint. I've been there on many occasions when they were transitioning from Proguard with some level of difficulty as you may anticipate but Mrs. Sherri handled each event with grace. Sherri & Heather are the most kind and friendliest ever! I came in with multiples unit reservations and they helped to correct it and helped resolve the matter without any hassle. The facility is large, quiet, & clean and the first month or so has been easy. Not sure how long I will rent here, but it seems to be a safe & friendly place.

Just checked in to confirm our reservation today. Service with a smile is such a rarity these days, but Sherri was a breath of fresh air on a hot Houston day! She carefully reviewed our reservation and got us set up in no time! We recently had a very bad experience with another storage facility in the area, but it’s clear we made the right choice this time around!

We have a daughter in college in Houston and have used several different storage facilities in the area in the last few years. We've had both good and awful experiences. We just moved into a unit at iStorage on Spanish Trail and the process was wonderful. Sherri was super helpful and friendly and very efficiently answered our questions and got us what we needed. We will be back and will recommend to others!

Although I only rented a unit for a short period of time, everything from start to finish went smoothly and was exceptional - largely due to the property manager, Sherri. Sherri was the epitome of great customer service. The only change I would make is allow for pro-rated rent if you're not renting for the whole month. I would rent here again.

I have been going through financial difficulty which made me very stressed out making my storage payments. Both Sherri and Thomas worked with me. They were both understanding & empathetic. Neither one of them wanted me to lose the contents of my storage which held sentimental contents such as the graduation memorabilia for myself and my daughter. Important documents such as birth/death certificates. They both went above and beyond and treated me like a person and not a unit number. I have grateful to the both of them for the constant contact.

This place has one of the nicest managers I have ever met and pretty fair rates on the storages.

Today I stopped in to pay my storage and as always I'm greeted with what I needed a warm smile and sweet attitude. I felt like today I wanted to give up but it's something about the manager her on this site 2915 old Spanish trail. 77054. This location and unit is clean and convenient. MY unit is #513. I only pay 78..00 month with good coverage 3000 dollars which of course is a Lil under my product worth but bc I feel so secure with my belonging being stored there. I felt it was ok to only get 3000 in coverage. Mrs. Sherri is such an awesome lady. This company should be thankful for this lady. She had literally help bring up the value on this property. I was once afraid in past about selecting this location bc people were living in the unit,especially ones nearest road. But when lady Mrs.Sheri came they were gone and site was enormously clean. I stop in and got a tour bc I was in process of moving. Week after I chose to give this location my business. I can truly say.I don't regret a moment .. so if your looking a great spacious profession,clean,secure location go by there a take a tour. Make sure u tell Mrs.Sheri Carla short sent you. Contacted iStorage for a quote on 10x15. Their price quote was the best in our area. The representative, Mr. Author, looked into our area until he located a storage that fitted our needs. The representative was quick and thorough. It took approximately 20 minute phone call to complete. Definitely my go to for storage needs.

I am a current customer and tenant of istorage and have been for three years now. A while back the previous management sold the storage location to istorage, and I have to say I was not a happy camper with istorage and their handling of the switch over at that time. I had several issues ranging from no lighting in the unit all the way up to incorrect charges and zero notification of rate increases. Those issues almost led me to move to a different competitor. Fast forward to today just 2.5 months since that time, I can now happily say I am pleased, impressed, and now will remain a Loyal iStorage client. I have three units in this location and commit a bit of money monthly to this company, hence why I was such a frustrated customer. I can honestly say that the diligence, professionalism and ethical treatment of my issues and the current service that customers of this location including me are receiving is beyond exemplary to say the least. As a business owner myself my clients expect nothing but the best results possible, I have an obligation to provide that so I know what it’s like to be a customer on the other end, I can say I have been fully respected as a client. I would like to thank the following people who have shown exemplary customer service that not only meets, but exceeds expectations of what customer service should be. The area manager Maranda Turner was very helpful and corrected items I had concerns with, following with her the division manager Kodie Patterson, took professionalism to a whole different level by correcting the wrongful charges I had, providing a credit on all three of my units as well as reaching out to me directly, providing me her direct number for future reference, and regularly staying in contact to make sure I remain a pleased customer. Wonderful experience when I arrived my code didn’t work that customer care had given me. I stopped at the office but no one was in a letter was in the door stating to call manager. Mrs Sherri immediately answered and was back in within 5-6 min she set up my gate code and made sure it worked properly before walking me to where the elevator was and then walked me to my unit and showed me how to get in and out the building as well as how to use the lock. Mrs Sherri definitely made my moving transition easy breezy and was very professional. Thank you definitely glad I switched from public storage!!

Gary and Deanna have always been so courteous to Mr. Southern and me. Mr. Southern was 86 and could hardly see and Deanna would always help him open his unit because he had only one eye. He passed recently and Gary & Deanna were so kind as we cleared out Mr. Southern’s unit. I appreciate all they did to make our rental experience easy.

Excellent storage facility. Easy ingress and egress. Quick to reserve. Straightforward with disclosures on cost and move-out times. Units generally large enough to park automobiles. Very good first month promotions for cost. A little pricey for subsequent months but overall storage in Houston has skyrocketed in price (and Proguard is within the market rate), so this is not unique to them.

I rented a storage with progaurd about a year ago (advised by my mother) and through this time they have been the most nice people ever. I had to move storages twice and it was so simple and smooth the managers was so understanding and was great. I just move out my storage recently and even that process with them was good I recommend them to anyone

I stored my stuff with them for three years. The facility is clean and well maintained. The managers are very friendly and helpful. They made sure my needs were met, and always returned calls promptly. I have not even opened my unit during all this time, just moved out, and the only thing was a brownish stain on the side of my mattress. I guess it reached too high to the unit wall. Other than that, the whole experience was very good and stress-free.

The owners have great customer service! I recently. Needed to switch to a smaller unit and the owner did it in as little as 5 minutes. I was referred by my mother to come here and I’m glad I did because this is where I will send my friends if they need a storage unit

The mgr was extremely polite and at the time they had a special so we only paid a $20 refundable key deposit for the first month. When we moved out, they had no problem refunding the $20. It was a clean secure storage that i would definately go back to
